Until recently scholars who have examined the diffusion of the Italian language in China have focussed on the People’s Republic of China. However, we have proof of early teaching and cultural activities by Italian schools in China since the late 19th century. Most of them though were run by Catholic missions receiving financial support from the Italian government and initially they did not include language teaching, due to the locals’ lack of interest. A study on the didactic, content and narrative characteristics of the audiovisual products available on YouTube Kids

This article analyzes the characteristics of a selection of audiovisual products aimed at children from 0 to 4 years old, hosted on the YouTube Kids platform. On the one hand, the platform itself is analyzed; its structure, design, usability and interactivity. On the other hand, the most popular resources in each of the categories established on the platform itself are analyzed, namely: programs, music, learning and exploring. Lasīšanas prasmju un iemaņu attīstīšana ietver vairākas lingvistikas dimensijas, tāpēc efektīvu valodas mācību materiālu izstrāde ir ļoti svarīga, lai apgūtu lasītprasmi. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai ievērojamu izdevniecību mācību materiāli atbilst lasītprasmes attīstības teorētiskajam ietvaram. Kā līdzeklis pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai tiek izmantota B1/Intermediate līmeņa mācību materiālu uzdevumu kvalitatīvā teorētiskā pamatojuma analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka publicētajos lasīšanas mācību materiālos tiek izmantoti dažādi līdzekļi, lai atbalstītu izglītojamo lasīšanas paņēmienu izpēti un vingrināšanu.
